The 10th Transportation Congress will be held between 27 September and 1 October 2009 in Istanbul. The object is to ensure that our country figures among the 10 most developed countries in the world by the 100th anniversary of our republic.
The Congress is meant to contribute to the making of sounder projections for the future of the transportation and communication sectors, to create an opportunity for discussing the current problems and bottlenecks of these sectors and to define missions, visions and targets for the future and to fix strategic plans and road maps accordingly.
Workshops, panels and sector committees have been formed in order to ensure that the Congress works smoothly and in an efficient manner in line with the motto “Target: 2023”. At the end of the Congress activities, a “Target: 2023” document will take shape and thus the much-needed “2023 Vision” for our transportation and communication community will become more concrete.
